The continuing unfoldment of events in the Middle East have saddened us all. With a situation so complex, it’s easy to feel helpless. However, the teachings of Yoga remind us that by meditating and dedicating our thoughts to peace, we do make a difference.
If ever there was a time to have thousands of people holding our world in light, it is now. This special donation-based evening will guide you through a Dru Meditation on peace and light, joining hundreds of people across the globe to send light to the war zones of the world.
It can be so very saddening and disempowering to witness such suffering - on the news or even in real life. This evening we also aim to give you an instant response - a short mini-meditation you can use within whenever you come across suffering but can't immediately take practical action.
Dru meditation is a yogic system of meditation that helps us quieten the body and mind, finding a nourishing balance between relaxation and alertness. Join meditators and peacemakers from all over the globe to create a wave of healing and light. The session will include a guided meditation and a mantra practice to focus on light within. We will focus this calm and light on healing the world.
This meditation is free but we welcome donations to the Red Cross and Red Crescent.
