Sun Sequence - or Surya Namaskara - is one of the best-known yoga practices worldwide. You may have discovered a number of varieties depending on the yoga tradition you tap into. But whichever form you practise, the benefits of this ancient body prayer are most accessible when you invite the great sun to rise in total harmony with your inner environment. Just like the sky is different from one day to the next, so are your mood and energy levels.
Nanna Coppens will present three variations of the Dru Surya Namaskara adapted to the Ayurvedic body types Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The session will build up from gentle, grounded and steady to dynamic and invigorating. Don't worry… if the most dynamic version is not for you right now you can watch it from the comfort of your home. And of course, we’ll complete with a deeply nourishing relaxation.
When Surya Namaskara is practised according to your body’s needs you’ll find that your energy becomes more readily available and you add a radiant glow to body and mind. This power hour will teach you how.

I really enjoyed the {Dru Yoga & Ayurvedic Cookery} workshop. It had a nice balance of yoga movement, relaxation and meditation/concentration that was not too challenging for a novice like me. The cookery demonstration was great fun and the food was delicious. Also everyone was friendly and the venue was good too. Thanks for a lovely day.
This course really helps you look clearly at yourself, in a very gentle and supportive way. It teaches you to accept and love yourself as you are.
