Learning the easy ways to meditate
Dru Meditation's approach to meditation gives you an easy pathway to comfortable, fulfilling meditation, even if your mind feels impossibly busy.
Success in meditation is all about understanding how it works, and why it works. Tonight, Andrew Wells and Monica Stanniforth will show you effortless ways to prepare yourself for a comfortable meditation experience, and how to ensure that feels energising, stablising, and deliciously pleasant.
We'll then use this state to help you transform the emotional-mental energies within the mind that cause the dreaded FUD. :-)!
By transforming the actual energetic causes of these states, we begin to discover that we are so, so, so much more than our mind or its emotions. In fact, we have the opportunity, always, to find a part of ourself that is strong and clear amidst any of the ups and downs of life.
Lessons from neuroscience
In tonight’s session, we want to explore two important lessons from neuroscience.
- Firstly, we want to help you derail the anxiety cycle, the positive feedback loop within your brain-body connection that triggers an increase in your stress.
- Secondly, you’ll discover a bit more about the emerging field of interoception, the body’s pathways from your organs to your brain. These turn out to be setting much of the emotional scene within your psyche, and you’ll learn meditation to become an active designer of the messages within your emotional system.
Tonight will set you up with a practice you can use to transform these energies, bit by bit, in effortless stages that are fulfilling, doable, accessible for everyone.
If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 2 CPD hours for attendance at this masterclass. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

I have just completed session 1 of the Swadharma Dru Dance Course and I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the dance. I already feel that I have started to develop some muscle memory and connection with the spirit of the dance. So well done, great teaching. Also great design of a very relevant and creative practice utilising ancient wisdom and symbology to open awareness of Swadharma. Perfectly right for me at this time.

I really enjoyed the activations. The relaxation was particularly good. The segmented vitality sequence - very useful technique. I also enjoyed the simplicity of the flowing tree sequence. I enjoyed my day practicing Dru Yoga with a lovely group of people. Thank you Padma, Anne, Sue and Bob.
However long you have been practicing yoga, this was different and very thoughtful - although previous experience helped. The dance session had a beautiful flow - it almost breathed.
