Dru Yoga Summer School
Summer School – 18-23rd August 2012
Summer School is exclusively for Dru Yoga students and consists of 5 days of in-depth revision of the course materials in Snowdonia Mountain Lodge. We advise you to come to at least one Summer School during your Dru Yoga teacher training course, as in the tutors' experience, students who attend summer school have a deeper understanding of Dru Yoga, do better in their assessment and become more confident teachers. It's also a great chance to meet other Dru Yogis from across the globe and have fun at the same time! Sessions may be indoors or outdoors (weather permitting), with in depth yoga, pranayama, meditation and teaching practice. If you've missed part of your course, attending Summer School counts as making up one Dru Yoga book. In some sessions you will be divided into two groups depending which part of the course you’re on.
It's a great chance to stay at Dru's only dedicated residential centre, to feel the peace of the mountains and enjoy the serenity of the World Peace Flame monument. Snowdonia Mountain Lodge nestles in one of the most beautiful valleys in Wales in the Snowdonia National Park, with the beaches of Anglesey only a short drive away. There are also many opportunities for recreation (walks, therapies, treatments and mentoring) which make Summer School such a fun and memorable experience. Some people like to bring their partners, who might like to enjoy walking, climbing, cycling or fishing while you're enjoying your yoga – and in the evenings you can dine together at the Lodge.
This 5 day course includes tuition, en-suite accommodation at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge, delicious vegetarian meals, refreshments and free parking.
