Restore your inner Calm

Is meditation your next step? Then learn the calming, energizing effects of Dru Meditation on this in-depth course, and at the same time, make a living doing what you love.

What is Dru Meditation?

Dru Meditation is about finding a still inner point from which you can look at the world in a different way and discover a fresh, new perspective on your life.

What’s included in the course?

The course has been designed as a powerful transformational journey that provides you with the tools to examine and transform ways of being that you find unhelpful so that you can engage with your life in a positive and successful way.

This in-depth course will take you through the process of meditation, from its most physical techniques to the most subtle awareness of your own energy.

You will explore different styles of meditation and will find real inner peace through your own practice. You will also learn the science of teaching meditation to others, and guiding them through that same process.

Amongst other things you will learn:

•    Structuring and planning meditation classes
•    Dru prana kriyas, pranayama, mudra and visualisation techniques
•    Meditations for each kosha
•    Meditation in the workplace
•    A deep understanding of subtle energy
•    Meditative prayer and contemplation techniques
•    Chanting/singing  and mantra meditation
•    Meditation for healing the body and the earth

How do I prepare to come?
In order for us to be able to move the whole group ahead at the same pace, we encourage you to have attended two Dru Meditation retreats before the teacher training course. It helps if you are familiar with the basic Dru Yoga and Meditation techniques found on those retreats.
 •    Knowledge on the chakras and subtle energy systems
 •    Working knowledge of Energy Block Release sequences 1, 2 & 3 and other Dru Yoga sequences
 •    Experience of the Prana Kriya techniques
 •    Good knowledge of the Vertical Alignment, Blue Mist and other techniques taught on the preparatory retreats
 •    An established daily meditation practice

Alternatively, we encourage you to attend at least a term of Dru meditation classes with a qualified Dru meditation teacher, in place of one of the retreats.

It is not always possible to achieve these preparations when courses are close to their start dates, so please contact us for details of how you can join the course in these situations. Call us on 0207 388 2410.

What’s the course structure?
The teacher training course structure differs depending on location. In Scotland the course consists of 16 weekends over two years. In London it’s 24 Saturdays over two years. In Snowdonia it consists of three, five-day modules per year, for two years.  In Northern Ireland it's four day modules. You will develop a regular meditation practice and will be given detailed guidelines for optimising your personal experience of meditation. Home study will consist of refining your practice.

What does it cost?

A registration/course admin set-up fee secures your place on the course, which you pay once your application has been accepted. The course fees vary slightly depending on location.
