August 18th – 23rd is ‘Yoga for Charity Week’

Our Dru Conference not-for-profit project is 'Yoga for Charity', a fun event where you can get healthy and help others at the same time. How? By asking your friends and family to sponsor you for doing rounds of the Sun Salute.

Raise money in 4 easy steps…

STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR CHARITY

If you have too many favourites and can't choose, here are 3 we really like:

1: Micro Loan Foundation – provides small loans, basic business training and continuing guidance to groups of women, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa. Donate now.

2: Prison Phoenix Trust – encourages prisoners in the development of their spiritual welfare, through the practices for meditation and yoga. Donate now

3: Make-a-Wish Foundation – grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. Donate now to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

STEP 2: GET YOUR SPONSORS
Ask your family, friends and co-workers to sponsor you. You can download as many sponsor forms as you need from the website: www.druconference.com

STEP 3: DRU YOUR YOGA!

a) If you are attending the Conference - do as many rounds of Sun Salutations as you can comfortably manage, during the 7:30am yoga sessions. You decide how many rounds you want to do – for example, 5, 10 or 20 rounds over the five days (Tues– Sat). If you like a real challenge, you can always aim for 100!

b) If you can’t make the Conference - use this sponsor form and do as many rounds of Sun Salutations, as you can comfortably manage, between 18th - 23rd August 2008.

STEP 4: SEND YOUR DONATION

Collect the funds from your sponsors and send to the charity of your choice.

SMALL PRINT...
The Sun Salutation requires an average level of fitness. If you have any health concerns, please consult your health advisor before taking part in this project.

No need to send any collected funds to us at Dru (UK) Ltd. Please ensure that all funds collected by yourself, are sent directly to your chosen charity.

We will send you regular updates on this exciting charity event and other activities through our weekly Dru Talk e-mails.
