7 Minutes of Joy - Create a web of light to change the world

21 December, 2022
(Registration open till December 2025)

Welcome to a joy-packed, delightful and brief burst of meditation, kirtan and magic. In these 45 minutes, we're aiming to hit a climax of light and joy that pours out positivity into the world. In the challenges of post-pandemic society it's more important than ever to add a tangible contribution to our global web of light!

With the World Peace Flame at centre stage, Andrew, Christiane and Petra aim to help you connect with your own inner source of care and wisdom, as well as building a resonance between us all that is many times stronger than the sum of us as individuals.

We'll be building on the techniques in the "7 Minutes of Joy" package, which enables you to give a magnificent uplift to yourself, and then send it on to a friend and plant a tree for our planet. We hope you might explore the 7 Minutes of Joy meditation as a preparation for this evening!

Does Joy make a difference? We'll be showing you how science and various spiritual traditions have come to the conclusion that the energy of a well-founded thought of joy has the power to cancel out millions of thoughts of anger or fear!

Help us build the global network of 1,000s of people who are choosing a solution-based mindset to uplift society. As we navigate difficult and challenging circumstances, adding positivity and solution-thinking are the most important keys to building a world in which everyone can thrive.

We'll be sharing the meditation from Dru's "7 Minutes of Joy" 3-fold Christmas gift, which is designed to fuel our global movement towards positivity. Start doing the techniques now to build even greater force on the 21st!

Andrew Wells has been teaching Dru techniques with the World Peace Flame for more than 30 years around the world, and his innately joyful style has warmed the hearts of 10,000s of people worldwide. Christiane Saar is Dru North Wales' senior Dru Yoga teacher trainer, and has brought her irrepressible delight in inner transformation to people in Australasia and throughout the UK. Petra Opsteeg is Dru's senior Sound and Mantra trainer and - well, what can we say - when she starts singing the world is caught up in the power and love of her presence.

We are looking forward to adding to the world with you on the 21st!

I am just working on the spine assignment. Apart from really enjoying all the research and information, I had to smile, because whilst writing about the spine and common back problems I have discomfort in my back (chronic) and sitting in one position, not as relaxed as I would like, is aggravating it. I have been taking frequent breaks, doing the Dru stretches, tri spinal release, marjariasana, bringing my knees up and rocking my spine which I love, standing forward bend and squats and when I finish studying each day I do a long relaxation. I have been drinking lots of water as well. I love the fact I have the tools from the Dru to help myself and have the chance to put it all into practice. It's all made such a difference to my back, neck and rest of my body. From a happy yoga student!

The workshop was very friendly and welcoming. Good combination of gentle flows and more challenging movements. I really enjoyed it - learnt some new movements and enjoyed the sequences.
